Pretty table lamp built at right angles: it gives off a very pleasant light and allows you to highlight an object placed underneath it.
This contemporary lamp is made of black patina brass and its lampshade is made of ecru chintz cotton. It has a hand switch.

Brass is an alloy that oxidises naturally in the air over time, and therefore a thin layer of verdigris appears which can be easily removed with ready-to-use products that you can find in shops, but there are also some old wives' tales that you can try with everyday products: in a container, dilute 1 litre of hot water, 2 to 3 tablespoons of black soap and 1 tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda. Dip a soft sponge in it and rub the surface of the brass object. Then rinse the latter with water and dry it with a clean cloth.
