Rattan is distinguished from wicker by its strength. Unlike wicker which has only one fibre, rattan is composed of a core made up of a set of fibres forming a very hard grain. To make our rattan items, we use this heart of fibres. Thus, a rattan basket will be much stronger than a wicker basket.

You can clean rattan using a sponge or a soft brush soaked in warm water and a few drops of washing-up liquid. Always use a soft cloth or a soft brush to avoid damaging the material. Drying is very important, otherwise the rattan may become mouldy.Our customers also liked
