Animalier bronze representing a woodcock in full flight, with its wings spread out. The woodcock's flight is all about finesse and lightness. This is a solid pewter figurine, with an authentic bronze finish applied to it. This figurine will delight nature lovers as well as collectors: the piece is signed by J. Maillard Placed on its base, this piece is a beautiful decorative object to place on a desk, a shelf, a console table. This is a handcrafted work, made by hand in France in the tradition of French goldsmithing. Pewter is a very shiny metal in its natural state. To give it this bronze patina, it is dipped in a copper and brass bath and then hand-waxed to give the model its full character.
