This duck is the work of a French animal painter, Catherine Noël. Each piece is therefore signed C. Noël.
This is a handcrafted work, made by hand in France in the tradition of French goldsmithing.

Pewter is a very shiny metal in its natural state. To give it this bronze finish, it is dipped in a copper and brass bath and then hand-waxed to give the model all its character.
