This set with handles is made up of a square Pyrex dish and a rattan flower stand, covered with a food-grade varnish. This varnish allows the stand to be washed with water if necessary. This dish is ideal for cooking a gratin or meat, and for serving your guests with elegance. In addition, thanks to the handles on the vine stand, you won't risk burning yourself when carrying it. Unlike wicker, which has only one fibre, rattan is made up of a core consisting of a set of fibres forming a very hard grain. It is this core of fibres that is used in the manufacture of our rattan items. A rattan basket will therefore be much more resistant than a wicker basket. Even stronger, the rattan flower is the very heart of the rattan fibre. It is the finest and most resistant part of the core that is used. You can clean rattan using a sponge or a soft brush soaked in warm water and a few drops of washing-up liquid. Always use a soft cloth or a soft brush to avoid damaging the material. Drying is very important, otherwise the rattan may become mouldy.
